THE DEVELOPMENT OF DECONTAMINATION LIQUID WASTE TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR NUCLEAR POWER PLANT DECOMMISSIONING BEFORE DISMANTLING

We have studied liquid waste treatment from decontamination process before dismantling the nuclear power plant. We composed several treatment process from conventional treatment techniques about three developed decontamination reagents, which contained mainly 0.1%, 2%hydrochloric acid and 0.1%oxalic acid. Through the fundamental and the scale up test, these processes were evaluated, and the basic process of treating the decontamination liquid waste, which considered the character of liquid waste, was developed.
