Study of spin waves in amorphous ferromagnet Fe50Ni22Cr10P18 by small angle polarized neutron scattering

1992
Abstract The small angle polarized neutron scattering by metallic-glass based ferromagnet has been measured at various magnetic fields and neutron wavelengths. From the data analysis the set of parameters characterizing spin waves (SW), i.e. stiffness, damping, internal field strength etc., are deduced. The strong influence of the dipole-dipole (d-d) interaction on the SW behaviour at low momenta is demonstrated and d-d force constant is found.
