Sleep apnea detection with Doppler radar based on residual comparison method

In order to detect the obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) accurately, a non-contact way using Doppler radar is presented in this paper. The residual comparison based algorithm has been proposed to enhance the body movement cancellation and pre-event baseline calculation, so that the OSA event can be detected accurately. The experimental result shows the effectiveness of the proposed method for diagnosing the OSA event.
