Manifestations ophtalmologiques transitoires de la maladie de Horton: aspects épidémiologiques et évolutifs selon le milieu de recrutement

27,5 % of 29 patients with Horton disease had ophtalmologic transient events without frequency difference beetween ophtalmologic and internal medicine recruitment. 50 % of them will be back with definitive loss of vision, more often in the ophtalmologic group than « medicalgroup. It is suggested that this difference may be due to the presence of occult temporal arteritis in the first group with delayed diagnosis and treatment.
