The present invention relates to a lithium ion secondary battery negative electrode active material and a method comprising the natural graphite and the metal material. And more particularly, to the formation of the crystallizing metal layer on the external surface and internal pore surface of the natural graphite and coated with a pyrolytic carbon layer by chemical vapor deposition on the metal surface crystallization, it has a high capacity and high output characteristic. In addition, the crystallized metal layer has the advantage that said mitigate the volume expansion of the lithium ions during charging and discharging of the secondary battery, a metal material as a metal material of the nano-sized to improve the life characteristics.
