Unresectable Lung Malignancy: Combination Therapy with Segmental Pulmonary Arterial Chemoembolization with Drug-eluting Microspheres and Radiofrequency Ablation in 17 Patients

2013
Chemoembolization combined with radiofrequency (RF) ablation could be a strategic procedure to combat known limitations of RF ablation alone; it allowed us to achieve complete response in tumors with a diameter up to 3 cm and better local tumor progression rates than were achieved in previous studies in larger tumors (3–5 cm).
