Gas cooker device

2009
A gas hob includes a plurality of gas burners, which are disposed on a cooktop surface to receive a plurality of cooking vessels. Each burner is associated with a valve to vary the fuel gas flow from a supply to the burner, so that the heating power of the burner can be changed in use. The hob includes a controller that is operatively coupled to an actuator which is assigned to each valve, in order to change the position of each valve. The controller is configured to receive from a user via a user interface an input and to operate the actuator to move a valve to a desired position along a predetermined path, the path is not the shortest distance between the current position and the desired needs to be position of the valve.
