Aortic valve disruption after percutaneous aortic balloon valvoplasty

Abstract Severe disruption of the aortic valve cusps in patients with aortic valve stenosis can occur during percutaneous aortic balloon valvoplasty. We report such a case treated successfully by aortic valve replacement.
