Application of Ultrasonic Elastography Beside Breast Diseases

Ultrasonic elastography(UE) can obtain the quantitative information of the elasticity distribution within tissus and hence has some important clinical values and wide application prospects. Exclude breast diseases, UE was used in other aspects generally. The application of UE in detecting prostate carcinoma, diagnosing hepatic fibrosis, monitoring heat cure and so on were demonstrated detailedly in this article.
