Symptomatic inverted Meckel's diverticulum. Case report.

1983
: The radiographic diagnosis of Meckel's diverticulum in an asymptomatic individual is extremely difficult. Complications of the diverticulum may make preoperative diagnosis possible. A persistent, elongated filling defect within the distal ileum in a patient with chronic blood loss and symptoms of partial obstruction is most likely to be due to an inverted Meckel's diverticulum.
