Testicular tumors are rare but the unusual histology which frequently reflects aberrations of normal development and the predominance in young men has always generated disproportionate attention. Recent developments in diagnosis and improvement in treatment of disseminated disease have refocused attention on these interesting tumors. It is important both to establish an accurate diagnosis of scrotal masses and to comprehend the implications of such diagnosis.
