Method for treating hickory epicarp to produce fertilizer

2011
The invention discloses a method for treating hickory epicarp to produce fertilizers. The method mainly comprises the following four steps of: raw material pretreatment, microbial strain inoculation, aerobic fermentation and aging. The raw materials (percentage by weight) are as follows: 60% to 80% of hickory epicarp, 5% to 20% of crop stalks and 15% to 20% of lake mud; and the inoculated fermentation strain is Gulin microbial preparation accounting for 0.1% to 0.3% the weight of the raw material mixture. Based on the high-temperature aerobic composting technique in combination with the aid of fermentation stain, the method can treat the waste hickory epicarp, crop stalks and lake mud to produce organic fertilizers rich in potassium and various medium/micro elements; and the organic fertilizers are applied to farmlands to provide sufficient nutrients to crops, improve the physicochemical properties of soil and improve soil fertility. The resources of raw materials are abundant, the process is simple, and the organic fertilizers can be widely applied in agricultural production.
