Psychoonkologie bei hämatologischen Erkrankungen

2013
The psychooncology faces with blood disorders to a very wide spectrum of different problems. These reach from physically long time asymptomatic illnesses (initial stages of MPN or CLL) about moderately severe blood diseases with which especially the chronic fatigue syndrome (MDS, certain lymphomas, chemotherapy) is a main issue, to the life-menacing acute leukaemia and patients with bone marrow or peripheral stem cell transplantation which need before, during and after this intervention an intensive psychooncolic councelling and care. Everywhere the patients suffer more or less strongly from psychic symptoms like fear, depression and social isolation which can lead above all with acute leukaemia to an extraordinary psychological burden. Patients experience an existential menace and helplessness. Also with subjective complaint freedom they can see her physical integrity disturbed. The strategy of the psychooncology very early to be aimed should lead to in the attempt of the best possible ressource activation.
