[Study of the growth of a mammary cancer and of one of its pulmonary metastases (author's transl)].

1975
: A kinetic difference between a mammary cancer and one of its pulmonary metastases progressing simultaneously, has been quantified. The time in which the primary tumor doubled was 72 hours whereas that of the pulmonary metastasis was 20 days. This difference is probably related to variations in the local conditions of tumor proliferation. It is found in certain series where primary tumors and pulmonary metastase shad been seperately studied.
