Antiglare film, a polarizer, a transmissive liquid crystal display

2008
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiglare film a surface of which has high antifouling performance, which has a moderate antiglare nature and has no white blur and no skin form of a fruit of citrus junos. SOLUTION: In the antiglare film, an antiglare layer is formed by hardening an antiglare layer forming composition comprising a multi-functional (meth)acrylic monomer, a (meth)acrylic monomer having a hydroxyl group, a photoradical polymerization initiator, a binder matrix component containing a fluorine compound having a polymerizable group and an acrylic-styrene copolymer particles. Further a value obtained by dividing mean particle size of the particles by average film thickness of the antiglare layer is in a range between 0.30 and 0.80. Product of a value obtained by subtracting a refractive index of the binder matrix from a refractive index of the particle and a value obtained by dividing content of the copolymer particles by content of the binder matrix in the antiglare layer is in a range between 0.0015 and 0.003. Surface free energy of the antiglare layer is in a range between 15 and 20 mN/m. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
