Clinical efficacy of high gold alloy in prosthetics dentistry

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of high gold alloy in prosthetics dentistry.Methods The prosthetics dentistry was performed in 500patients with high gold alloy(group A)and 200patients with nickel-chromium alloy(group B).The clinic outcomes were compared between two groups.Results The satisfaction rates of marginal adaptation,cervical margin staining and condition of the gums were higher in group A than those in group B(94.8% vs.81.0%,100% vs.83.5%and 97.2% vs.80.5%)(P0.05).Conclusion High gold alloy is better than nickelchromium alloy in prosthetics dentistry with lower adverse reactions.
