Diagnostic value of quantitative analysis by virtual endoscopy of 64-slice computed tomography in patients with coronary artery disease

2012
Objective To investigate the potential value of virtual endoscopy of 64-slice computed tomography(CTVE) in visualization and assessment of coronary artery disease. Methods CTVE imaging were analyzed retrospectively in 114 patients suspected for coronary artery disease and underwent coronary angiography(CAG).The Digimizer software was used in quantitative analysis. Results In 1322 coronary artery units,CTVE analysis had good consistence with CAG in diagnosing different coronary artery lesions(Kappa=0.8172),especially for those normal or total occlusion arteries. Conclusions CTVE qualitative and quantitative analysis has good diagnostic value in patients with coronary artery disease.
