Analysis on serum specific IgE in chronic urticaria

The seram specific IgE were detected by ELISA(Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay)in 54 cass of chronic uricaria and in 24 healthy control.It was found that 77.78% patients with chronic urticaria had positive reaction to at least one of the all ergens which were significantly higher than the positive rate of 12.5% in control group(P0.01).It was also found that 68.52% patients with chronic urticaria had elevatory level of total serum IgE which were significantly higher than the rate of 4.17% in control group(P0.01).
