Unilateral Aplasia of the Condylar Process of the Mandible

Abstract A unique case of unilateral aplasia of the condylar process of the mandible is reported. There was no history of infection or trauma, and no other anatomical defects such as a defective or absent external ear. This paper discusses aplasia of the condylar process and its effect on the growth and muscular balance of the mandible.
