Discussion of the application of ‘Jingjin and bone imbalance, regulating Jingjin first’ theory in the treatment of knee-joint disease

The physiological function of Jingjin is the main foundation of knee-joint stability and movement. Knee-joint disease mainly is caused by the invasion of exogenous evils first, then further developed into bones. The symptoms, diagnosis and treatment area of knee-joint disease are closely related to Jingjin. Especially the massage treatment for the ‘bone staggered joint'in the ‘Jingjin and bone imbalance' required to relax the muscles, ligaments and the surrounding tissues to relieve the tension and spasm. On the premise, bone adjustment might be easier and more effective which could prevent Jingjin system from injury such as nerve, vascular, muscle, surrounding tissues, etc. So the concept of ‘Jingjin and bone imbalance, regulating Jingjin first' should be established in the clinical and scientific research.
