Etude de la sécurité microbiologique au niveau du bloc opératoire de l’Hôpital du Mali en 2013

2014
We conducted from 6 to 21 February 2013 a study on the control of microbiological safety in the operating room of the Hospital of Mali. This is a quality approach to quickly detect weaknesses in the security system anti bioburden and also in the system of sterilization or storage. The study focused on the surfaces of surgical tables, soil, shadowless lamps, instruments sterilized for 24 hours, the sterilized instruments packaged and stored for 07-20 days and the fingers of two surgeons. Organic contamination levels well above 300 are seen on all surfaces cfu/cm2 taken for bacteria, yeasts for these levels vary between 0 and 720. Isolated bacteria are Pseudomonas sp and Staphylococcal coagulase negative. At surgeons fingers, the CFU number varies from 10 to 320 for bacteria and of 0 to 10 for yeasts. Systematization of such a quality approach reduces nosocomial infection risks.
