Near field communication device and power management method of electronic apparatus comprising the same

2012
A near field communication device comprises an RF power unit, a power sensing unit, a driving control unit, and a switching control unit. The RF power unit generates RF power voltage by wirelessly communicating with an external communication device. The power sensing unit senses an output level state of a battery connected to the near field communication device. The driving control unit controls the near field communication device. The switching control unit offers the power voltage of the RF power unit or the battery to the driving control unit in response to at least one of an output level state of the battery, a power setting state of the electronic device including the near field communication device, the connection between the electronic device and the battery, and the activation of the RF power voltage. The switching control unit blocks the supply of the power voltage from the battery to the driving control unit when the electronic device connected to the battery is in a power-off state and the RF power voltage is inactive.
