A luminescent pillar-layer Zn(II) metal-organic framework for the ultrasensitive detection of nitroaniline

2020
Abstract A pillar-layer Zn (II) MOF (1), demonstrating a two-fold interpenetrating pcu topological net, has been facilely assembled from the mixed-ligand strategy. The result of tolerance towards organic solvents indicates MOF 1 shows an exceptional chemostability. The luminescence measurement reveals that MOF 1 is a promising luminescent chemosensor in the ultrasensitive detection of nitroaniline with low detection limits. Besides, the possible luminescent quenching mechanism of MOF 1 toward nitroaniline was investigated by the UV–Vis spectral overlap experiment.
