Patologia tendinea. Trattamento “tradizionale” e nuove frontiere

Patellar tendinosis is usually seen in young athletes, particularly those who forced extension of the knee. Overuse is considered to induce the condition. For the diagnosis, clinical examination should be combined with ultrasonography or ecocolordoppler. Operative treatment seems to give good results in most cases after an unsuccessful conservative treatment.
