Doppelblinde Shampoo-Vergleichsstudie zur kosmetischen Akzeptanz, Vertraglichkeit und Wirksamkeit bei Patienten mit Kopfhautschuppung

In this double blind study the difference in efficacy and including cosmetic properties of "head & shoulders wohltuend fur trockene Kopfhaut"(H&S, containing 1% zinkpyrithione) and "Stieprox Intensive Shampoo plus Pflege" (SIS, containing 1,5% ciclopiroxolamine) was compared in 200 patients with scaling scalp diseases during in-patient treatment of appr. 14 days. While the clinical efficacy in reduction of scaling, erythema and itching was comparable for both shampoos by patients evaluation, the categories hair shinning, smell of the shampoo and combability were evaluated higher for H & S vs. SIS.
