SLE with Vesicdobnllons Erupdons and the Relationship of Anti-BMZ Antibodics to Blistering

1993
The clinical, histological, immunopathological features of three bullous SLE (BSLE) patients were described. Direct IEM was performed in one case. With IIF using 1.0 M NaCl-splitted human skin as substrate, the anti-BMZ antibodies in the sera of 77 cases of SLE and 3 cases of SOLE were screened. The results demonstrated that there were a low titre of anti-BMZ antibodies in 58 saes of SLE, 2 cases of SOLE, as well as 3 cases of BSLE. The authors consider that anti-SMZ antibodies are not always associated with blistering in SLE, it may not suggest thatthese patients represent the coexistence of SLE and acquiredbullous dermatoses.
