Simultaneous Holmium Laser Enucleation of Prostate and Laparoscopic Bladder diverticulectomy

Abstract Bladder diverticula can be a congenital condition or a secondary process due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) with bladder outlet obstruction. Its presence could be a source of high postvoid residual prompting surgical intervention. We describe a stepby-step approach of simultaneous laparoscopic bladder diverticulectomy (LBD) and holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP). To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case report of LBD combined with HoLEP done simultaneously.
