The psychiatric patient seems often like a subject disqualified, to put under tutelage: the validity of his consent to treatments represent a trouble of psychiatric therapy; ethics and laws preventing, even in judicial frameworks the imposition of sanitary deeds. For sanitary treatments meaning the whole of actions made from who practices the sanitary profession; treatments must look at well-being of patients respecting the consent of a subject duly informed of the agreed actions. The strength of consent is conditioned from the psychopathological state of patient; there are troubles who most easily compromising the resolutive capacity: conscience alterations, schizophrenia, psychotic bothers, organic troubles and dementia. The way whom given the information lay the basis off physician-patient relation: in psychiatry must make at the first place the individual, fit into preformed models with difficulty, which consent must have specific characters, that is to be personal, free and spontaneous, conscious and actual.
