CPW-Fed Wideband Circular Polarized Square Antenna With Ground Slot and Partial Feed

A wideband circularly polarized printed monopole antenna with coplanar waveguide feeding is proposed in this letter. The antenna consists of a square patch which dig two triangles diagonally and a slot cut on ground. In this way, antenna excite circular polarized wave and enhance 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth respectively. In addition, by means of shifting feeding line towards left edge, the impedance bandwidth has achieved great improvement. Overall size of the designed antenna is $60\times 60\times 1\ \mathbf{mm}^{3}$ . As simulation results, the proposed antenna can provide a wide impedance bandwidth $\mathbf{(S11 of 62% $\mathbf{(1.52-2.88\ GHz)}$ and 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth of 53% $\mathbf{(1.55-2.66\ GHz)}$ respectively. Which are useful for wireless communication.
