Risk factor of node metastasis in cervical carcinoma

2011
Objective:To investigate the metastatic risk factors of pelvic lymph nodes in patients with cervical carcinoma. Methods:The clinical and pathological information of 634 patients with cervical carcinoma after radical hysterectomy with pelvic lymphadenectomy were retrospectively analysed. Results:The lymph nodes metastasis rate was 18.76%(119/634),age,clinical stage, pathological grade, myometrial invation, tumor growth type and histologial classification were closely related to the metastasis of lymph nodes. No significant difference was found between squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma, the size of tumor, preoperative chemotherapy and radiotherapy.Nore not related with node metastasis. Conclusion:Age ≤35,late stage, myometrial invation ≥1/2,ulcerative type, worse in pathological grade are all the risk factors of lymph node metastasis in cervical carcinoma.
