Expression and Significance of Prostate Apoptosis Response Factor in the Process of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Objective To study the influence of radiation therapy to expression of prostate apoptosis response 4 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma.Methods Fourty patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma without distant metastasis and 10 cases of chronic nasopharyngitis as control were registered in the study.Specimens were obtained before and after radiation therapy and then expression of prostate apoptosis response 4 was detected by immunohistochemcial techniques.Results There was a positive correlation among prostate apoptosis response 4 and clinical radiation therapy in nasopharyngeal carcinoma.Conclusion Prostate apoptosis response 4 could predict the clinical radiosensitivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
