Sagittal anatomy of the human temporomandibular joint spaces: Normal and abnormal findings

Abstract Normal and abnormal joint space anatomy in the sagittal plane is described in human cadaver TMJs. The results of this preliminary study support the validity of the diagnostic criteria currently used to interpret TMJ arthrograms.
