Objective To determine the effect of nursing factors on the quality of specimen collection and explore the countermeasures.Method Through analysis,the nursing factors which influence the quality of specimen collection are: lack of detailed explanation to patients,improper collection methods,different site of collection or inadequate quantity of blood,failing to test the specimen timely, and the nurses’ lack of cognition to the importance of specimen collection.Result The countermeasures mainly include:instructing the patients to make the preparations for specimen collection correctly,such as fasting,rest,emotion control,and keeping the patients in correct position when collecting the specimen to prevent hemolysis,packing the tourniquet correctly and sending the specimens to be tested timely.Conclusion It is important to operate correctly to ensure the quality of specimen collection.
