Comparison of nursing effects on different clinostatism beds for vitrectomy combined with intraocular filling

2017
Objective To investigate the nursing effect on different clinostatism beds for vitrectomy combined with intraocular filling. Methods 82 patients with complex retinal detachment were enrolled in our hospital from October 2014 to October 2016, and divided into two groups according to the random number table, 41 cases in each group. All patients were treated with vitrectomy combined with intraocular filling, and postoperative were placed in the prone position. The control group was lying on the ordinary bed, while the observation group was lying on the multifunctional bed. The incidence of postoperative depression, postoperative comfort level and complications were observed and recorded. The results were compared and analyzed. Results The postoperative SAS, SDS scores in the observation group were (46.25±2.56) and (48.37±3.03), were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The time in the prone position in the observation group on the day of surgery, postoperative 1 d, 2 d, 3 d, 7 d were respectively (3.97±0.51)h, (16.88±2.36)h, (17.87±2.25)h, (17.41±2.05)h, and (17.95±2.43)h, were longer than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The postoperative comfort level in the observation group was better than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The incidences of postoperative corneal edema, elevated intraocular pressure, cataract in the observation group were 0.00%, 4.88%, and 2.44%, were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusions Nursing care of prone position lying on the multifunctional bed is significantly effective for patients with complex retinal detachment treated by vitrectomy combined with intraocular filling, which can significantly relieve the negative emotions, prolong the prone position time, improve the postoperative comfort level, reduce the incidence of complications, worthy of promotion.
