More trouble with Norlestrin.

When we arrived in Bangkok on January 12 we found in contrast to India a mood of disappointment. Monthly new acceptors after climbing for nearly 2 years to 46000 in February 1972 had fallen to about 30000 by October. The drops had been almost entirely among pill acceptors. The cause was attributed to the many cases of side effects from Norlestrin the only brand available. We were somewhat skeptical but a later even more drastic drop in the Philippines where the same pill was being used suggests strongly that the local analysis was correct.(FULL TEXT)
