A dynamic damper for damping vibration of a rotary shaft

A dynamic damper 10 for damping vibration of a rotary shaft, the dynamic damper 10 including a tubular mass member 11, and a rubber elastic member 14, 15. The rubber member includes an attachment tube 14 which is press-fitted onto the rotary shaft and an arm 15. The attachment tube 14 is disposed coaxially with the mass member 11 and the arm 15 connects the attachment tube 14 to the mass member 11. The attachment tube 14 includes a tubular support portion 16, connected to the arm 15, a tubular attachment portion 18, and a tubular coupling portion 17 for coupling the tubular support portion 16 with the tubular attachment portion 18. The tubular attachment portion 18 has a larger interference with the rotary shaft than does the tubular support portion.
