Self‐Consistent and Simplified Descriptions of Vibrational Non‐Equilibrium CO2 Flows

A closed self‐consistent description of a four‐temperature vibrational‐chemical non‐equilibrium CO2 flow is proposed. Various factors affecting the accuracy of this approach are studied, among them the representation of the production terms, anharmonicity of molecular vibrations, the choice of the molecular interaction potential.
