Insights into the Epiphyseal Cartilage Origin and Subsequent Osseous Manifestation of Juvenile Osteochondritis Dissecans with a Modified Clinical MR Imaging Protocol: A Pilot Study

The most important findings of our study were identification of the early onset of juvenile osteochondritis dissecans within the epiphyseal-articular cartilage complex margins and the secondary, reparative nature of lesion ossification, which support a classification based on the natural history of the disease.
