2014
Purpose: This study was designed to evaluate efficacy of Angiojet rheolytic thrombectomy in patients with acute arterial occlusions. Methods: In the group of patients with endovascular correction of acute peripheral arterial occlusion included 33 patients who rheolytic therapy was performed of 54 peripheral arteries. Results: By using AngioJet system for recanalization of acute peripheral arterial occlusion primary technical success was achieved in 57,6 % of patients (19/33); secondary technical success was obtained in 18,2 % of patients (6/33). Criteria of primary technical success was complete relief of pain and increase in pain-free walking distance of more than 500 meters. Secondary technical success was relief of pain and increase in pain-free walking distance of less than 500 meters.
