Process for the manufacture of a dry emulsion powder containing at least one lipophilic active principle, and dried emulsion obtained by this process

The present invention relates to a method for the manufacture of a dry emulsion powder containing at least one lipophilic active ingredient, which comprises the following steps: (a) providing two phases of step (i) an aqueous phase containing the least one emulsifying proteinaceous compound, and (ii) a lipid phase containing said lipophilic active principles, (b) a step of forming an oil-in-water emulsion comprising (i) a continuous phase formed by said phase aqueous and (ii) a discontinuous phase consisting of said lipid phase dispersed in the form of lipid particles having a maximum size of less than 3 microns, the interface of said lipid particles with the aqueous continuous phase comprising at least said at least one nature of emulsifying compounds protein, (c) a step of incorporating at least one saccharide compound in said oil-in-water from step (b) and (d) removing step of said aqueous phase in said oil-in-water emulsion from step (c) for obtaining said dry emulsion powder comprising said lipid particles containing said lipophilic active principles and whose interface is covered with a secondary protective zone, said interface and said secondary protective zone respectively including said one or more proteinaceous compounds of emulsifiers and / or said one or more saccharide compounds.
