Produção de protetores faciais para profissionais de saúde contra o coronavírus

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a need to increase protection for those working on the front lines against the new coronavirus - such as health workers in ICUs, triage and emergency care centers - in an attempt to minimize contagion and spread of the virus. This protection is a transparent visor for the face, also called a facial protector. Its standard is described in ABNT NBR ISO 13688: 2017. To contribute to this process, professors and educational administrative technician of the Catarinense Federal Institute, in Blumenau, proposed to collect material and manufacture 1085 face shields, using the 3D printers on the campus, to distribute them to the most exposed health workers in the region of Blumenau.
