Lower Extremity Arterial Procedures in an Office-Based Endovascular Center

Abstract Lower extremity endovascular revascularization is commonly performed in the office-based setting. This can be performed safely and effectively with appropriate patient selection and technique. There are multiple modalities that exist for treatment of peripheral vascular disease in the office-based laboratory including angioplasty, atherectomy, and stent placement. Selection of the right access point is crucial to a successful revascularization. Safety and freedom from complications are paramount for lower extremity endovascular procedures in the office-based laboratory.
