Investigation and Management of Three Patients with Imported Dengue Fever in Longgang District of Shenzhen

Objective The study was conducted to analyze the clinical features and epidemiological characteristics of imported dengue fever which confirmed in three patients in Longgang District of Shenzhen.Methods A retrospective descriptive epidemiological investigation was conducted to analyze and appraise the process of discovery,diagnosis and deal with emergency of imported dengue fever.Results History of business trip to India was confirmed in all patients,and they had been exposed to mosquito bites and contacted with dengue fever patients.The symptom had appeared before they came back.Positive dengue-specific IgM antibodies were found in all patients by laboratory tests,and negative IgG was found in one of them.Imported dengue fever was confirmed by laboratory tests.Conclusion Imported dengue fever epidemic situation was confirmed by epidemiological evidence.The supervention case wasn't found because the measures of prevention and control were timely and efficacious.
