Zur initiierung der Emulsionspolymerisation von Vinylchlorid mit Kaliumperoxidisulfat. 2: Initiatorzerfall während der Polymerisation

Wahrend der Emulsionspolymerisation von Vinylchlorid wird der Initiator Kaliumperoxidisulfat durch eine komplexe Reaktionsfolge verbraucht. Auf der Grundlage experimenteller Ergebnisse wurden Vorstellungen zum Mechanismus des Initiatorzerfalls entwickelt. Dabei wurden die Rolle der Phasengrenzen Herausgearbeitet und bisher nicht betrachtete Teilreaktionen im Gesamtbild der Emulsionspolymerisation berucksichtigt. In the course of the emulsion polymerization of vinyl chloride the initiator potassium peroxydisulfate is consumed by different types of reactions. On the basis of new experimental results the mechanisms of the decay of the initiator are discussed. The role of the interfaces is emphazised and partial reactions of the emulsion polymerization which have not been regarded until now are taken in consideration.
