Kinetic and structural features of the modification of silica sorbents for HPLC with polyacrylonitrile

The kinetics of acrylonitrile polymerization on the surface of porous microspherical silica gel (PMSS) were studied. The structure of PMSS-based sorbents was analyzed by IR spectroscopy, sorption analysis, and XRD before and after modification with polyacrylonitrile. The sorbents obtained were tested in high-performance liquid chromatography.
