Cooperative Resource Allocation for NOMA-based MEC: A Coalition Formation Approach

In this paper, a cooperative resource allocation framework of NOMA-based MEC under the partial offloading scheme is studied. In this framework, there is co-channel interference and resource competition among the users in the same NOMA groups. To minimize the total overhead of the system, we jointly optimize the problem with the computing resource allocation and the offloading strategy of each user under constraints, such as the maximum time latency and the number of total computing resource blocks. A coalition formation game, coupled with computing resource allocation and offloading strategies, is used to find the Nash-stable solution to this problem. The simulation results show that the proposed approach can effectively reduce the total system computing overhead under the different offloading schemes.
