High eosinophils after HALO training: an active-duty soldier with recent travel, nonproductive cough, and eosinophilia.

Eosinophilia is associated with a broad differential, especially in our world-traveling military population. Coccidioidomycosis is just one of the many causes for an elevated eosinophil count and it should be considered in those who travel to endemic areas. We present a case of primary coccidioidal infection and a marked eosinophil count.
