Packet Loss and Delay Measurement Analysis of TCP Variants in NDN Congestion Control

2020
Recently, the high-speed networks are largely deployed and their demand is increasing quickly every day. This kind of network is utilized in many internet architectures; such as Named Data Networking (NDN), which is a new networking paradigm. In NDN, high-speed networks are deployed to connect multiple devices to provide fast services. This paper aims to apply different TCP Variants “BIC, STCP, Agile-SD, and CUBIC” to NDN congestion control, evaluate and compare their performances in terms of packet loss and delay measurement in NDN network. Our results demonstrate that CUBIC and BIC can be promising to control the window size in NDN congestion control compared to the others variants.
