Indications for Vocal Fold Injection

Vocal fold injection (VFI) was introduced as a treatment of unilateral vocal fold paralysis (UVFP). In recent years, the range of indications for VFI is widening. Vocal fold botulinum toxin injection is the treatment of choice for the spasmodic dysphonia, and vocal fold steroid injection is alternatively used for the treatment of the benign vocal fold lesions.
