Background The clinical outcome of malignant biliary obstruction caused by metastatic gastric cancer remains unclear. This study was designed to evaluate the clinical outcome and predictive factors of survival in patients who underwent percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage (PTBD) for malignant biliary obstruction caused by metastatic gastric cancer.
